Agent Network Services

Social Lender agent network helps to deliver financial literacy  to the unbanked and underbanked to enable them access financial services.

Using Social Lender Technology, some of the key activities our Agent Network engages include: Community Sensitization, Financial Literacy Training, Biometric Verification Numbers (BVN) Registration, and Bank Account Opening.

Community Sensitisation – To inform each rural community of opportunities now available to them.

Agriculture Best Practice Training (in collaboration with the Agricultural partner’s extension agents)- To introduce and help adoption of interventions such as soil testing, personalised fertilizers based on soil-needs, use of quality feed, and many more.

Bank Verification Number (Biometrics) Registration – on the spot, in the comfort of their communities. BVN is mandatory in Nigeria to operate a bank account.

Bank Account Opening – Social Lender Agent Network will assist the End user to open a zero-balance bank account (in most cases, for the first time) with our partner financial institution.

Social Lender Onboarding for offline customers – Using USSD and SMS channels, the end-user is on-boarded on the Social Lender Platform to obtain a Social Reputation Score and aid financial inclusion.
